Excellent Daily Prayer – Sovereignty Education and Defense Ministry (SEDM)

A member cobbled this prayer together over decades and uses it as a daily prayer:

Thank you, Abba, for forgiving my sin

Thank you for giving me the compassion to forgive those who have sinned against me.

Thank you for giving me the strength to overcome the temptations, addictions, and trials ahead.

Thank you for taking care of my family.

Thank you for providing for my every need.

Thank you for showing yourself to me in the form of Jesus Christ and giving me a perfect example of how to Be, Feel, and Do in the world.

Thank you for the Holy Spirit.

I am a willing instrument of your will Oh Lord. Use me for the purpose your wisdom chooses.

Let all whose life my life touches feel your presence and be drawn to seek you.

Let my feet know the path you have laid for me.

Give my back the strength to bear the burden allotted to me.

Let my hands know the work you have set for me.

Let my voice speak your words.

Let my heart reflect your love.

Let my eyes see you in all things.

Let my mind know your purpose.

Let my ears hear your voice.

Let my spirit follow your guidance until in me be reflected your wisdom, your mercy, your compassion, your love, and your understanding.

I surrender, I surrender, I surrender.

In Jesus’ name and by his example, I pray.
