Bruebaker Case, Case #25T045 May 18th 2026 – Sovereignty Education and Defense Ministry (SEDM)

Linked is a superb audio summary of an in-progress constitutional clash between the Colorado Department of Taxation and an man unnumbered since birth who filed a 2023 Colorado tax return placing the term “n/a, see attached addendum” on the return. For 2023, every tax filer was owed money under the TABOR Act. Mr. Brubaker filed for the TABOR payment and it was denied because he did not put an SSN on the form. Mr. Brubaker supplied a letter from the SSA saying that there was no SSN issued related to him. He provided his driver’s license, concealed carry permit, and passport as evidence, all of which were obtained not withstanding the ordinary demand for an SSN and his not having one to give.

The case is up for a hearing on July 8th, but the exciting part is the exchange of arguments that are being made between the Colorado attorney’s and the un-lawyered Mr. Brubaker.

We are hoping that it will be another chink out of the beastly bureaucracy’s armor, enroute to liberty for the unnumbered.

The drama seems to lean toward the bureaucratic State until you hear the response of Mr. Brubaker and yesterday’s ruling in favor of Mr. Brubaker after the parties exchanged motions.

Enter the items in the cart that you want.

Go to the last step of checkout without actually paying to determine the Order number and total.

Complete a check with the Payee field blank for the amount listed in the almost completed order.

Scan in BOTH sides (FRONT and BACK) of the check in high resolution color, preferably as a PDF but you can us JPG format if you don't have a PDF scanning program. The resolution of the scan should be at least 300 Dots per Inch and preferably 600dpi COLOR, NOT black and white. Scan with a bed scanner and put the cover down or place a heavy item on top so the check is completely flat when scanned. DO NOT use a wand scanner or a smartphone picture, because they distort the image. "FOR" block should indicate "Donation" with the order number next to it if there is an associated order. After we have successfully deposited your check, we will email you an order confirmation and a link to download your item. Normally it takes at least two days from the date we receive your check via email to receive the download link in your email inbox.

LIMITATIONS:

We can accept checks from only USA (not U.S.) banks. No foreign checks.

Sorry, but money orders or cashiers checks NOT accepted.

The payor on the check and the person ordering the item in the store need NOT be the same, so long as the payor gives you permission to pay from his/her account. If we don't receive an email with an image of the check within three days of the time you placed the order, we will automatically cancel and delete the uncompleted order. Please be prompt.
