Sovereign? Don’t ask where I’m from, ask where I’m a local. I’m a transient foreigner- Taiye Selasi, TED Talks
When someone asks you where you’re from … do you sometimes not know how to answer? Writer Taiye Selasi speaks on behalf of “multi-local” people, who feel at home in the town where they grew up, the city they live now and maybe another place or two. “How can I come from a country?” she asks. “How can a human being come from a concept?”
Taiye Selasi promotes the United Nations’ for an International world. While we agree with free travel and free markets, we cannot agree with United nations centralized governance… and control. One tyrant 3000 miles away. The ONLY solution is NO unconsensual interference with individual’s fundamental rights. The “multi-local” and “relationship” terms are carefully crafted to accept the acceptance of acceptable orange cum-ba-yah politically correct manipulation of language. This is prepping us for “feelings offense” via “minority report” interventions for “foul” or “invasive” speach against our “fellow international”.
This is a “doctored” speech. I can tell by the “emotional” stories of “friends with cute names” usually contrived to appeal to naive females interested in “relationships”.
