God and Government-John Macarthur
John Macarthur explains why America is in decline and literally “burning”: We have abandoned God so he has abandoned us. He has not only abandoned us, he has put on his military uniform and is literally at war with us using a corrupted government as an instrument of His divine justice.
This sermon is different from his usual Grace to You Sunday sermons. He is much more direct and focused and candid. All of the sugar has been removed from the lemonade, leaving nothing but pure lemon juice, fire, and brimstone. We wish he would preach more like this on his regular program, but of course if he did, his pews would probably be empty. This is the most extreme sermon we have heard him preach and based on this sermon, would officially classify him as a radical.

Separated from God
59 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins [Form #11.401] have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood [Abortion],
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken lies [Form #05.014],
Your tongue has muttered perversity.4 No one calls for justice [Form #05.050],
Nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies [Form #05.014];
They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.
