Frivolous Subject: Text inside of a box on a form doesn’t legally exist

Some people have alleged that if you put boxes on a form and text inside of them, the text within the box can have no legal effect.

This subject is sometimes called “the four corners rule”.

We have never seen any court admissible proof that this is true. Therefore, users may not use this argument on this site or in connection with our materials or services.
