Frivolous Subject: Birth Certificates are a financial security against the earning power of the human named on them
Some people claim that birth certificates represent a financial security against the earning power of the human named on them. They never have evidence to prove their assertion. In fact, we have been looking for over 20 years for such evidence and ask everyone who makes this claim to provide the evidence to support their claim. No one EVER has it. Therefore, Members may not use this argument in connection with any of our materials or services. If they use it on their own in a courtroom, they are GUARANTEED to destroy their own credibility with the judge and jury
The closest thing we have found to this subject from the government is the following exhibit on our site:
NCVHS Report on Vital Records, SEDM Exhibit #07.015
https://sedm.org/Exhibits/EX07.015-NCVHS_Vital_Records_Uses_Costs_Feb_23_2018-1.pdf
The above document describes in detail the birth certificate issuance process, and provides data and money flows. There is NO EVIDENCE in that report that the birth certificates are linked to anything in the Department of the Treasury.
A subject closely related to this is whether the number stamped on the back of the Social Security card is a debt instrument number. Here is how the Bureau of Public Debt responded to a FOIA on this subject:
