What Kind of Member are You?

“There are two different types of people in the world, those who want to know, and those who want to believe.”
[Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche]

The “those who” parts could be replaced with many different things. Here’s a reframe for the context of our esteemed Members:

“There are two different types of people in the world, those who want to be left alone, and those [ PREDATORS] who won’t leave them alone [because of their own greed and covetousness].”

Which of the above two categories do YOU fall into as a Member? The first, we hope. Why? Because a major goal of becoming a member is to seek “justice” as LEGALLY but not POLITICALLY defined. The courts have defined “justice” as the right to be let alone. See for yourself:

What Is “Justice”?, Form #05.050
https://sedm.org/Forms/05-MemLaw/WhatIsJustice.pdf

And what are the characteristics of those who seek “Justice” as legally defined rather than POLITICALLY defined? They are:

  1. Claim complete self-ownership.
  2. Seek to be responsible and personally accountable for all of their choices and actions. Why? Because this is the inevitable consequence of seeking self-ownership. Self-ownership and personal responsibility always go together.
  3. Seek private, absolute ownership of everything they have.
  4. Seek to act as much as possible in an INDIVIDUAL capacity and never in a political or civil capacity in the context of any and every government.
  5. Seek liberty, not freedom. Liberty=Freedom + Responsibility.
  6. Do not seek any offer of limited liability, immunity, or privilege from any government.
  7. Seek to be governed exclusively by God and His CIVIL laws and eschew the civil statutory codes. See:
7.1 The Laws of God, SEDM

7.2 Choice of Law, Litigation Tool #01.010

  8. Do not seek membership in any political group that might cause a surrender of rights.
    https://sedm.org/membership-in-a-specific-class-status-or-group-as-a-cause-for-loss-of-rights/
  9. Always take the “Merchant” position in every transaction involving the government and NEVER the “Buyer” position. See Path to Freedom, Form #09.015, Sections 5.5-5.7.

“Hope has two beautiful daughters; their names are Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are, and Courage to see that they do not remain as they are.”
[Augustine of Hippo]

Without Anger, we don’t think Care and Concern about changing the future are even possible. Anger (righteous indignation vs petty anger resulting from self-pity/loathing) wells up in the heart. After we get angry, we can then transmute it into Courage which again, we think happens in the heart. No lasting change can happen without first having some degree of righteous indignation and anger (truth is belligerent).

Below is a scene from the movie “the network” that shows this kind of righteous indignation and anger:
