“Freedom Paradise”

One of our FAVORITE videos is the following one by “Weird” Al Yakovic:

Whenever we watch this video, we can’t avoid seeing:

1. The Amish in the video as us and our freedom loving members.
2. Us as the “Freedom Paradise” they live in.
3. The societal view of the anachronistic Amish Christian lifestyle like the secular modern view towards Christianity itself, which is what this site is entirely based upon.
4. The rejection of technology and luxury by the Amish in the video as OUR rejection of franchises and privileges that cause a surrender of rights.
5. The BOLDNESS of the singer in the video with the BOLDNESS of our members in facing a clearly corrupted society.
6. The SEPARATION and SANCTIFICATION of our members from the corruption in society with the SANCTIFICATION of the Amish Christians and their separation from a corrupted culture.
7. The “Amish Paradise” that the people in the video live in with the “Freedom Paradise” that we offer our members.
8. The literally ANCIENT history of the Christian faith with the ANCIENT nature of the Amish living without technology in the modern age.

The parallels between us and our members with the Amish in the video is quite remarkable. Since the Amish are Christians like us, we see ourselves in this video. We can’t think of a BETTER theme song and theme video than this one to describe what SEDM does.

Let’s “party tonight like its 1699”! Celebrate your Christian tradition no matter what everyone else in a pagan society thinks just like the Amish in this video! That tradition, in fact, is what gave birth to the United States of America as a country!

There are only two kinds of people in the world:
